We recently partnered with PL:21 Transition Initiative, a community group based in South Devon, to create a brand-new website that reflects the inspiring work they’re doing.
Their previous site was hosted on Weebly’s free platform and, over time, it became outdated and difficult to manage. Visitors were often met with security warnings, and the overall appearance didn’t do justice to the group’s mission. PL:21 needed a website that not only looked more professional but also helped strengthen their credibility when applying for funding and grants.
A Modern Platform for a Growing Community
The new site, now live at www.pl21transition.org.uk, provides a solid foundation for the group’s future growth:
- Dedicated Domain & Email: We secured a professional domain name and set up dedicated email addresses, giving PL:21 a stronger online identity and improved communication channels.
- Fresh, Professional Design: The site now offers a clean layout, up-to-date information, and a structure that makes it easy for visitors to learn about the group’s projects and activities.
- Room to Grow: The design allows for easy expansion and being powered by the WordPress platform editing and adding more content to the site will be easy. PL:21 already has plans to incorporate another local community group with a shared interest in sustainable train travel.
The feedback from the team has been really positive—they’re proud to share the new site with the community and confident that it will help them secure the support they need for future initiatives.
