WordPress website designER in Devon, UK
Hi, I’m Vicky and
I make websites
I’m a Devon-based WordPress website designer helping individuals, small businesses and charities create websites that are easy to use, easy to update, and built to last.
In just one week, you can have a WordPress website you’re proud to share: clear, considered, and designed to attract the kind of clients or customers you actually want.

Is your website holding you back?
Feeling frustrated with your website?
Maybe you built it yourself late at night with a YouTube tutorial open in another tab.
Maybe it started as a quick fix, but your business has grown and your website… hasn’t.
Or maybe every time you look at it you sigh, because it feels outdated or slow.
You’re ready for a website that attracts the right people, feels professional, and supports where your business is going — not where it started.
That’s where I come in.
In just one week I can turn a confusing, underwhelming website into clean, strategic WordPress website that reflects the quality of what you offer.
I’ve helped individuals and businesses across Devon and beyond feel proud of their websites again — and I’d love to do the same for you.

for small businesses & individuals
Why choose me as your WordPress website designer
I design custom WordPress websites for small businesses who want a site that’s easy to manage, built to grow, and actually does its job.
I work with WordPress because it’s flexible, reliable, and puts you in control. No locked-in platforms, no confusing systems — just a website you can update yourself, whether that’s changing text, adding blog posts, or growing your site over time.
Every website I build is designed around your business, not a template. I take the time to understand what you do, who you’re trying to reach, and what success looks like for you. The result? A WordPress website that feels like you, works beautifully on mobile, and is built with SEO best practices from the start.
I work with startups, charities, and growing businesses across Devon and beyond, offering honest advice, clear pricing, and a collaborative, no-stress process. No jargon, no upselling — just thoughtful WordPress design and a website you’ll feel confident sharing.
If you’re looking for a WordPress website designer who keeps things simple, strategic, and human, you’re in the right place.

New Website Launch 🚀
And another new website was built and launched last week by a client taking advantage of my Website in a Week package.
Leap Workshops is a programme of free neurodiversity workshops for parents of children and young people with SEND in the Devon and Torbay areas.
This project included designing a new logo for the programme and linking to Eventbrite through which booking for the workshops are taken.
Take a look and maybe if you know someone who has a child with SEND, send them the link to see if the workshops might be of interest to them. 👇

I posted about this website launch back in early February, but forgot to post it here on IG as well! 🚀
This new site is for Sevenstones Farms, a group of local South Devon farmers bringing fresh meat and produce straight from their farm to your table.
I heard yesterday that two more local producers have signed up to the website and I'll be adding them to the website over the next few weeks.
So if you live in South Devon and care about knowing where your food comes from, this one’s definitely worth a look 👇

New Website Launch 🚀
The new Bigbury Parish Council website went live a couple of weeks ago and I've been so busy that I forgot to mention it! 🎉
I enjoyed working with Bigbury Parish Council to design and build a fresh, easy-to-use website where you can find the latest news, local information, and important parish council documents—all in one place.
Take a look and let me know what you think 👇

It’s a brand new year, and for many small business owners… it might also be time for a brand new website 👀✨
If your site feels a little outdated, doesn’t really sound like you anymore, or just doesn’t support where your business is heading… a refresh could make a huge difference.
I design good-looking, high-performing WordPress websites for small businesses who are ready to step confidently into their next chapter.
If ‘update my website’ is on your 2026 to-do list, DM me or COMMENT ‘WEBSITE’ and let’s chat 💬

As I close "the office" for the Christmas holidays, I'm delighted that we managed to launched @carolinebarkerprintmaker 's new website this week.
Caroline is a local artist and printmaker and needed a new website as her current website host was retiring.
The site is built with WordPress and Kadence and I've tried to make it as simple as possible for her to update herself. After evaluating different ways of creating galleries, I installed and used the FooGallery plugin to create the art galleries and albums which I think she will be able to easily manage.
I'll write more on my blog about it soon but in the meantime do take a look at her site here: https://www.carolinebarkerart.co.uk
