Physiotherapist Website Design
Plym Physio is one of the leading physiotherapists in Plymouth. Nic, the owner of the physiotherapy practice came to me a few months ago as she was struggling with her website. I had been recommended to her by Jennie Hawkins, a copywriter I know.

The website was running on the WordPress platform and ranking well on Google. Her main problem was that the previous website developer had built it in such as way, that she struggled to update it. She didn’t have full access to everything and could only edit certain parts of the pages. She had no control over layout and where anything appeared on a page. There were spelling mistakes made by the previous developer, that she couldn’t correct and it was taking a lot of time for these to get fixed.
A new look with a new WordPress template and plugins to improve editing
My solution was to build a new site, still using WordPress and with the Kadence page builder plugin and template installed. Each page had to be converted to use the new template, which took time, but it gave me the opportunity to freshen up the overall look and feel of the website at the same time. I used some new imagery taken from both stock libraries and photographs I took myself on a visit to the practice together with some of the existing photos.
SEO audit and strategy
Before coming to me, Nic had met with Jennie Hawkins, a copywriter and SEO strategist, who primarily works within the wedding industry. However she was happy to give the Plym Physio website an SEO audit and Jennie suggested a number of improvements that could be made to improve, not only the amount of traffic to the website, but turning those website visitors into clients. I was given a copy of her report and was able to incorporate her suggestions at the same time.
The new site launched just before Christmas 2024 and I will be keeping an eye on how it continues to rank in the search engines and how much traffic is visiting the site. Nic now has full administrator access to her site (something every website owner should have in my opinion), can now update any page she likes and maintain her blog in a much easier way.
Take a look for yourself at the Plym Physio website, and maybe book in for a session!
If you are struggling to manage your website and need an easier way to update and manage it, then please get in touch. I’d love to hear from you.
