What’s not included (but can be added)

To keep the week realistic and stress-free, these aren’t included by default:

  • Copywriting from scratch
  • Complex custom functionality or memberships
  • Large ecommerce stores
  • Logo design and branding
  • Ongoing maintenance (that’s where a Website TLC Day fits perfectly)
  • Domain name and website hosting
  • Annual subscription fees to specialised WordPress plugins.

Add-ons or TLC Day support can be arranged for anything beyond the standard scope.

How it works

First we’ll book a week in my calendar that works for us both. I’m going to need all the content a week prior to the start of that week, so make sure you allow yourself plenty of time to gather it. You’ll also need to be available during the week of the build to answer any questions I might have and give me feedback.

You will be asked to pay a 50% deposit to secure the booking in my calendar and sign an agreement.

After the booking is made and before the week begins, we will spend time locking in goals, deciding on page structure, and design direction. This can be done over the phone, on a video call, or face to face if you live locally. Decisions happen here so nothing slows down the build week.

SEO also happens right from the start so I’ll also spend a few hours doing keyword research, so that the most appropriate keywords can be included when copywriting.

Your website comes to life on WordPress and you’ll be able to see progress at any time on a staging site. I’ll be checking in during the week to ensure we stay aligned without slowing momentum.

At the end of the week the site will be launched and submitted to Google for indexing.

Your WordPress website is live — but websites need care. You’ll have access to help guides and videos to show you how you can maintain your new site yourself.

However if you don’t want to worry about that, then that’s where my Website TLC Day comes in. Book a dedicated day (or half day) with me whenever you need updates, fixes, or improvements without starting a whole new project.

How much does a Website in a Week cost?

Limited availability each month ensures every project gets my full attention.

50% deposit at the time of booking secures your week, with the balance due at the end of your week. You will also be sent an agreement which you will need to read and sign.

Please note the cost does not include domain name fees, website hosting or subscription fees to specialised WordPress plugins.

£1000

This includes:

  • One week dedicated to building your website
  • A day of preparation beforehand to plan the site structure and SEO research.
  • Tutorials and 14 days of post-launch support

Frequently Asked Questions

This is a focused, structured process. You provide your content and decisions promptly, and I dedicate the week entirely to building your WordPress site. Clear goals, check-ins, and a defined scope make it fast without sacrificing quality.

To hit the one-week timeline, your text, images, and branding need to be ready before we start. I can provide a content guide to make this easier if needed. If you need help with content, we can discuss options or add-on support. If you don’t think you’re going to make the content deadline, then we’ll re-book the week.

Absolutely! WordPress is user-friendly and flexible, and I provide a simple handover guide so you can manage pages, text, and images. Or, if you really don’t think you can manage it, or you just don’t have the time to update it yourself, you can always book me for a day or half day to take care of it for you.

The standard Website in a Week package includes up to 5 pages (Home, About, Services, Contact, etc.). Additional pages or functionality can be added as an upgrade or handled in a TLC Day.

I use a project management tool called Kitchen. You’ll have a portal there where you can upload all the content and files and we can send messages back and forth, rather than by email. It’s very user-friendly, so don’t worry about needing any technical knowledge.

  • Easy to manage — update your site yourself, or book some time with me where I can handle it for you
  • Flexible & scalable — add pages, features, or blog posts as your business grows
  • Reliable & supported — powers over 40% of websites worldwide

You get full control, ownership, and a website that grows with your business.

This package focuses on a professional, fully functional WordPress website. Complex ecommerce, memberships, or advanced custom features are best handled in a separate project.

You can make them yourself, or I recommend booking a Website TLC Day for ongoing updates, fixes, and improvements — it’s perfect for maintaining your website without starting a new project.

Yes! Every site is fully responsive for desktop, tablet, and mobile. Basic SEO is included (titles, meta descriptions, clean structure), so your site is ready to be found online.

Absolutely. Your WordPress website belongs to you from day one — you control content, hosting, and any future updates.

You will need a domain name and hosting facilities, but if you don’t already have them, I can purchase them on your behalf through our hosting partner.
