Let me tell you more about me, a Devon website designer

Hi, I’m Vicky!

I’m a Devon website designer with over 20 years’ experience designing and building websites for small businesses, local charities and individuals.

I help people who want a website that looks professional, works properly, and doesn’t become a headache to manage. My focus is on clean design, clear structure, and sites that are intuitive for both your visitors and for you behind the scenes.

I’ve been working with websites long enough to know that trends come and go, but clarity, usability and good communication never go out of style.

I'm Vicky, a Devon website designer

I design websites that are clear, considered, and easy to live with — for you and your visitors.

What it’s like to work with me

Clients often come to me feeling overwhelmed by websites — unsure what they need, worried about the tech, or frustrated with a site that no longer reflects their business. My job is to make the process feel straightforward and supportive from start to finish.

When we work together, you can expect:

  • Clear communication – no jargon, no mystery, and plenty of opportunity to ask questions
  • A collaborative approach – I listen carefully and design around your goals, not mine
  • Practical solutions – websites that are easy to update, maintain and grow with you
  • Attention to detail – from layout and structure to performance and accessibility

I’m calm, organised and methodical by nature, which means projects stay on track and clients feel looked after.

My experience as a Devon website designer (the short version)

I’m a Computer Science graduate and have spent over two decades designing and building websites across a wide range of industries. I’ve worked in-house, with agencies, for non-profits, and directly with business owners.

Alongside client work, I’ve also run my own successful e‑commerce business — so I understand websites not just as a designer, but as someone who relies on them day‑to‑day to support a real business.

All of that experience feeds into the work I do now: practical, well-thought‑out websites that support what you actually need to achieve.

Outside of work

I live in a small town in South Devon with my husband and our two young boys. I’m actively involved in my local church, love music (flute, guitar and singing), enjoy baking far too much, and have been bravely attending adult ballet classes for the last couple of years.

Chocolate is non‑negotiable.

If you’re looking for a Devon website designer with experience, clarity and a supportive approach, I’d love to work with you.
