Today sees the launch of a new website for Modbury Memorial Hall. The Memorial Hall is an excellent village hall serving Modbury and the surrounding communities in the South Hams, Devon.
With a main hall (with a large stage), a meeting room and well equipped kitchen, it is available to hire for gigs, shows, parties fundraising events, club meetings and even weddings.
However the previous website was outdated and to book the hall, you had to download and print off a paper-copy of the booking form which you would complete by hand and send that to the bookings co-ordinator. The hall committee weren’t able to update the site easily either.
WordPress is the perfect platform for this type of website and I was able to put together a brand new site, very quickly, with up-to-date photographs, an online booking form and an easy to use dynamic calendar showing when the hall and meeting rooms are booked or available to hire.
The client was quick to provide feedback during the development process which made the launch of the site come together in just 3 weeks.
